Medical or Radiology Transcriptionist
Should be able to independently transcribe medical reports dictated by various physicians. Needs a good grasp of the meaning and spelling of medical terminology, accurate use of grammatical rules and report styles. Needs to be able to utilize Microsoft Word and communication software like DropChute. Ability to utilize word expanders like SpeedType a plus. Requires a minimum of three years of medical transcription for a hospital or service transcribing hospital reports. Self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with good communication skills required.

Account Manager (in-office, MA & RI only)
Should have experience in medical transcription and familiarity with medical terminology. Working knowledge of computer systems and software is essential. Requires a self-motivated, highly detail-oriented individual with superior organization and communication skills. Must be flexible and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Customer relation skills required. Supervisory experience a plus.
At MTC, we believe that for an Account Manager to be effective, s/he needs to be highly experienced at what his/her employees and clients are doing. While the full evaluation process for our Account Managers is different from that of our MT evaluation, we do require all Account Manager applicants to go through the same initial screening which includes a short proficiency test on grammar and medical terminology.

Quality Assurance Supervisor
The ideal candidate for this position possesses skills in supervision, training, and an ability to communicate with transcription staff in a supportive and effective manner. Exceptional attention to detail a must. Previous experience in managing QA programs a plus. Strong English skills and extensive knowledge of medical terminology required. CMT preferred. Must be able to quickly learn software programs.

IT/IS Project Manager
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing new interface implementations, existing interface modifications, and software development.
Duties will include creating project plans and initial documentation, arranging and conducting conference calls, gathering technical information and assisting in the resolution of technical issues, supporting onsite client implementations and provide quality assurance for ongoing projects, monitoring and communicating the status of projects with all involved parties.
Requirements: Previous experience either coordinating or managing technical projects for a healthcare facility and/or health information management system(s) preferred. Knowledge of TCP/IP and socket communications, database management, programming background, NT, HL7 (a plus). Excellent professional communication skills (both written and oral), organization and analytical skills. Some travel required.
